About Us
Maxim has always had an affinity with the camera, having seriously started his photographic career at the age of 9, picking up an SLR for the first time on a Saturday morning at the large YMCA site, just of Tottenham Court Road in London. Since that time, Maxim has remained driven to excel in capturing moments frozen in time.
Maxim Photographic was conceived in 2002, and the company was formed in March 2003, with an emphasis on providing a new and refreshing approach to wedding photography, without the stigma of the traditionalists and the hard to decipher packages of the new wave of contemporaries. We aimed to make the whole process, from the intitial meeting to the delivery of the album as straightforward as possible.
Maxim has a background in the arts, with formal qualifications in Photography and an honours degree in Engineering Product Design. He is also a qualified member of both the BIPP and the MPA, the 2 largest professional bodies in Europe. This background allows Maxim to design albums with not only the insight that comes with having captured your wedding day, but also to maximise the potential of your layout using his keen eye for detail and conceptualisation that comes naturally.
During 2007, we gained an exceptional 2nd Photographer, Marc Tyson, who is able to capture weddings with the same flair and eye for detail, that our clients have become used to. He is a stunning photographer in his own right and works to the same exacting standards that we pride ourselves on.
